DESCRIPTION

Our Lactic is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) obtained by fermentation of natural sugars.
Lactic acid is a component of natural moisturizing factor (NMF) of the skin and increases moisture retention into the skin. It is also used as an exfoliator in formulations to rejuvenate skin’s appearance by encouraging the shedding of old surface skin cells.
It improves the appearance of handmade soaps.

SUGGESTED USE

Dilute before use or add to your personal formulations. Typical use level is 1-2,5% as exfoliant agent and 0,2-1% as a pH regulator.
Store at temperatures between 5-30 o C.

SAFETY

Undiluted lactic acid causes skin irritation and burns. It may cause serious eye damage. Wear protective gloves, eye and face protection.
If ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water. If ON EYE: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. If swallowed immediately call a POISON CENTER or contact a physician.

The ingredient is highly acidic and can lead to skin irritation and burns. If this occurs, reduce usage. If irritation persists, discontinue use. This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.
